Get fit in 3 minutes a week? Yeah right.

Saw this article this morning with the headline ‘Get fit in 3 minutes a week’.

3 minutes a week

Seriously? I really hate seeing this kind of thing being promoted, and will actually go as far to say that it’s irresponsible of these news networks to run this kind of stuff. It’s just feeding our lazy attitude towards health!

It’s not rocket science, kids – being a fit, healthy person requires a lifestyle that centers around good food and regularly moving your body. Good luck achieving that in ‘3 minutes a week’, while the rest of your time involves eating refined foods, sugary drinks, and physical inactivity because you read some article that said 3 minutes is all it would take to become an athlete.
